Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Summary: This lovely cottage sitting on almost 3 acres of wooded land is nestled perfectly in the gateway to the Catskills region. It’s a wonderful getaway from the city to recharge, relax and enjoy the nature that is readily available. The outdoor pergola is the perfect setting to enjoy the serenity of a relaxing morning, day or evening. When you come up here, you can enjoy cooking, bbqing, hiking or any of the other multitude of activities that the Catskills region is famously known for. Our house is a few minutes drive from the Arnold House (wedding venue, bar/restaurant) and the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (Woodstock!). The Space: This cape cod style cottage is situated at the end of a gravel strewn driveway lined on both sides by giant pine trees offering shade and privacy from the road. The cottage has just been renovated (new floors, brand new kitchen and bathroom). We love how the backyard opens directly to a small forest that you can explore and hike around in as well as the proximity to shops, restaurants, hiking, and kayaking in the Delaware River. Don’t be surprised to hear a woodpecker or two as you enjoy your morning coffee or a lazy afternoon barbecuing and hanging out in the pergola. Guest Access: There is a key code on the door, so you will not need to get a key. You’ll be given the code before you arrive. You’ll be provided a list and directions to hiking, kayaking down the Delaware River, favorite local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Other Things to Note: We are in the country which means we are prone to normal countryside occurrences like power outages during snowstorms or rainstorms. You will probably need a car with four wheel drive during the winter months. The driveway up to the house will be plowed as much as possible, but please remember this is the countryside, so we will not be responsible for shoveling or plowing snow in the yard or woods. Welcome to our beloved Catskill Mountain home. This midcentury home was built on the land of a previous dairy farm. We purchased this home during the COVID-19 pandemic and began updating it to create an oasis for our Brooklyn family. We have 27 acres that includes private trails, a swimming pond with a beach, a playground, a fire pit, a deck, and an outdoor grill. Our home boasts 4 oversized bedrooms and 3.5 updated bathrooms. Two of our bedrooms have desks which are perfect for working/learning remotely. Our kitchen includes a new refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher. Our basement is an amazing setting for Apres Ski, a cozy family movie night, or a small group gathering; it is equipped with a restored vintage pool table, a wet bar, and a big screen TV. We border NYS property and can walk to local hiking trails. We are a 15 minute drive to Belleayre Mountain for skiing in the winter and beach/boating in the summer. It is a 7 minute drive from our home to the Village of Margaretville where you can pick up groceries, shop local, and dine. We are close to the Pepacton Reservoir which is great for boating and fishing. We have a security system in the home. Each renter will receive a unique access code to enter the home with the door lock and use the alarm system while they rent the home. There are two security cameras outside the home (one above the garage and one in the back above the heating oil tank). Our security system is monitored by Country Home Security.
